Crazy Friend

So my friend is no longer my friend. She blames me completely for Lesley’s little incident at their house. In a way, I guess I can’t really blame her. Her favorite dog is dead and she’s pretty much homeless now. She asked if she could stay with me, but I unfortunately can’t let her right now. It’s a long story involving cleaning men and painting and clutter, but the fact remains that I just can’t do it. She hates me now, I guess. Oh well. Maybe she shoulda checked out her sitter using a Criminal Records search before agreeing to hire her. Just cause I said she was okay doesn’t mean I get the blame. I know when to people search and so should she.

Bad News

Lesley got hired by a friend of ours on our recommendation, and things were going well at first. They went out of town for a couple weeks and Lesley was to watch their house and dog. Long story short, the dog died and the house caught on fire. It turns out that Lesley has a little bit of a methamphetamine addiction going, and she left her meth pipe burning while she went on a cleaning binge (that explains why she did such a good job cleaning!). Because there were tons of hazardous flammable cleaners everywhere, the whole place just caught. The fire department was able to save much of it, but half the house is burnt and unlivable. In the ensuing confusion the dog ran out into the street and got hit by the fire truck and died. Such a disaster. I’m not sure what we could have done to foresee this… but I feel really really bad. Maybe I should just stick to finding old military buddies or something. I would if I had any, haha. Nah, I’ll stick to the people searches, it’s just that I’m gonna be more careful from now on when I’m finding people online.

Quick, Hire Lesley!

Wow, in all my excitement about Fargo, I completely forgot to mention that our dog sitter Lesley totally worked out. She asked how we background checked her, how we search people in general. She said that people search could really help her prove her trustworthiness to future clients. Apparently, she wants to do the house-sitting, dog-sitting thing as a full time job. I told her we’d be happy to be references. Anyway, now I’m off to Boston Dynamics Big Dog Robot.

Fargo Party!

Fargo was so much fun! No, really! I think we might just go bar for a vacation, we had such a super time. And it wasn’t just the warm fuzzy feelings of seeing family, it was such a rad party town! You don’t believe me - and certainly, if you’re looking for Spring Break in Cabo, you won’t find that in Fargo, but all the bars were really fun, something about everyone just being cold and needing to drink heavily to keep warm, I guess. Anyway, as you can imagine, meeting all of my girlfriend’s extended family and friends, I told a lot of people about my person lookup hobby, and you’d be surprised how many of them thought I was some people search private eye, but I tried to explain that I was nowhere near that cool. One of her friends, Mindy, wanted some help finding the child you put up for adoption so I gave her that link. (Good luck, Mindy!) The only downside to Fargo was I caught a slight cold, but I kicked it quick using the best multivitamin

Finding a Dog Sitter

I realize I haven’t mentioned it for a while, but things are still going great with my girlfriend and with Molly, so all good. In fact, my girlfriend and I are headed out of town for a couple weeks to Fargo, North Dakota. I know that sounds like a joke - and it hardly sounds like a vacation destination. It’s for her brother’s wedding. Anyway, so we were going to hire one of those dog sitter agencies to look after Molly, but it just seemed so much cheaper to find someone on craigslist or something. And besides, I totally know how to do a background check, so let’s save the money! Sure enough, it was pretty easy to find people. We didn’t even have to do a person search, they just responded to the ad. But then we did a person search to check their background, and this sweet 20-year old named Lesley checked out, so I hope she and Molly get along. Oh, check out this hilarious rant to post-its.

Find Someone a new chair

The swivel chair in my office broke. I’m heartbroken. Heartbroken over a broke chair. Yes, sad, I know. However, it was very near and dear to me and now that I can no longer swivel circles around my co-workers, I miss it more than anything. Four legged chairs just don’t cut it. Once you’ve gone swivel, you never go back. Just like, once you find people you can’t imagine life without it. No, there’s no comparison to anything but the ability to search people. In fact, sometimes I search for people for no reason other than my own amusement. Seriously. Kind of like that social networking site where you constantly tell people what you’re doing. What am I doing now? twitter.

Let’s talk about something else…

I’m so mad at Molly AND my girlfriend I don’t even want to talk about it. Seriously. So I’m not going to talk about it. I’m not joking. You will have no idea why I’m so upset. In fact, I signed on to this blog so that I could start thinking about something else–anything else!–so I could stop freaking out about them. Man, I’m mad. Let’s see. Let’s find something else to talk about. How about this weather, huh? Kinda warm for January? That’s weird, right? I saw this old lady in the parking lot at the supermarket earlier today and she was crashing her shopping cart into things. Crashing her SHOPPING CART, and sure enough, she climbed into the drivers seat of a hulking SUV. That thought of that woman behind the wheel scared me more than anything else ever has. Anyway, here’s some links for you. This blog is all about phone listings. Then, here’s a site about how to search people. And, finally, this is totally random, but it helps keep my mind off you-know-who, a good article about how to donate to charity. Enjoy!

Family Trees, Molly Update and Finding Someone…

I’m back, and I actually have some energy this time! I have been finding people left and right, and have also been getting along really well with Molly… so… I couldn’t really be happier at the moment. I have been working with my girlfriend to turn her into an awesome people finder like I am, but frankly… she lacks dedication; unlike the people whose sites I have linked you to above. These people are as serious, if not perhaps more serious, asbout people search as I am. I never thought I would say it… but I… am… saying… it. Other things I’m saying include: “READ THIS ARTICLE: PremiumHowToGuides.com - How To Build Your Family Tree.” Even if you don’t think you have any interest in building a family tree, you will after reading this article. I have put it off for the entirely of my life simply because I thought it was going to involve a lot of big, old dusty books, and hours upon hours of my life dedicated to searching that I would never get back. Man, was I wrong. It’s easier than pie these days. Read the article and you will see what I mean.

People Search-Free Business Trips.

Hey everyone. Wow, I’m tired. I’m on a business trip, and I’m so worn out from the travel that I can hardly even sit up in my bed here and blog. Still, I’m bored out of my mind, and while my body is tired, my mind is wide awake- so I thought writing a little note to all of you would help me calm down a bit. I suppose we’ll see. Nothing helps me relax like people searching, but I’ve already reached my budget for this month (I know, I’m so bad. October isn’t even half way done yet. Ugh.)… so I’m kind of just trying to avoid it… or at least while I’m on this trip. I’ve been tying myself over by reading other people’s blogs and articles about it, and have come across a few that I think you all might like too. One is about how to search people, and one is about how to find a person. In other news, my mom got her identity stolen, and I’ve been trying to help her restore it but it’s harder to do than you’d think! I found this article about it on Consumer Advocate (which has other good stuff on it), so check it out if you’re interested in the subject: Consumer-Advocate.org - Identity Theft. Ok. I feel like this has probably been the lamest blog entry ever, and I’m sorry. Really, I am. I need to go home. Take a nap. Spend some time with my dog people searching, and then I’ll be ready to come back and make it up to you. Hopefully you can forgive me in the meantime.

Bad Girl

Molly has been a bad girl lately. I’m actually mad at her, and I never thought that I would be. She loves my girlfriend more than me. Call me crazy, but it’s true. I’m the one who feeds her, and walks her, and basically does everything else for her. I can’t believe the disrespect. My girlfriend brings her treats is why. I have made it a point to not spoil Molly, because I don’t want her to beg, and I have repeatedly asked my girlfriend not to give her treats, but she still does. It’s so hard to be a good puppy daddy these days. So when I feel like pouting, I go in the office and close the door and people search. I am so juvenile I know. But I have found a couple links I think you’ll enjoy because of it. So enjoy these links that came out of my misery.
